Minor Service

The essential oil change to maintain engine health

The most important part of a minor service is engine oil and filter change, the old, burnt and black oil must be replaced with fresh oil to prevent engine wear and failure.

Minor services generally include:

Changing engine oil and filter

Performing comprehensive safety inspection

Inspection of all lights and fluid levels

Checking items in engine bay such as, drive belts, cooling system hoses, battery, alternator etc.

Inspection of brake, suspension and steering systems components.

Depending on what type of vehicle you have, the service intervals may vary but majority of vehicles require at least one service every 10,000 km/6 month or 15,000km/12 month. For example, many Japanese & Korean cars require a service every 10,000/6 month whereases most European need a service every 15,000km/12 month (whichever comes first- time or km).
