Why dates matter
What one missed date can cost in NSW
Fine for driving or parking an unregistered or uninsured light vehicle. The last registered operator can be fined for letting it be used.
Rego not renewed within 3 months of expiry is cancelled. To register again you need a new inspection and CTP.
Most light vehicles over 5 years old need a yearly safety check (pink slip) to renew rego. A report is valid for 6 months.
